Falling Leaves

Falling Leaves (13)With all the leaves that have fallen, we had quite the job to do in our own backyard here in Chicago. With the help of the whole family, the large task of raking leaves was made simple and easy as well as enjoyable. Raking, blowing, and hauling the leaves away were all part of the process. It was a lot of fun to work together, even if the leaves were wet due to an abundance of rain! =) It made for a great memory. Brielle (who is becoming quite the photographer) was able to capture some of action as we all worked together. Yet another season will soon be passed.Falling LeavesFalling Leaves (7)

Last weekend we enjoyed having our Grandparents come and visit us all the way from the sunny state of Florida. Our Uncle and Aunt Fletcher came with our cousin, Cindy, and her baby Hannah from Indiana. Aunt Rachel came to visit as well. It was quite the reunion and we enjoyed our time together immensley.Falling Leaves (8)

This weekend we also had the privilege of having the Nelson Family over. We really enjoyed our time together and the weather was simply gorgeous. I believe that it got up to around 70 yesterday! Not your typical November weather. =) We had fun though the time was short.Falling Leaves (6)
Today, the final Journey to the Heart group came back from the Northwoods. Nate went up to help staff this Journey but will not be coming back till later on this week. We are looking forward to hearing the testimonies of what God has done in the lives of those who have returned.

Today was another beautiful day. I am so grateful to God, for He is so GOOD to us all.  BlesFalling Leaves (11)s His Holy Name.
