Light vs. Darkness

“Ye are the light of the world…”
~ Matthew 5:14

Tabitha and I are grateful to be back in the states safe and sound. The Lord really moved in powerful ways in the hearts of those that we were able to minister to. Mr. Gothard had some amazing opportunities as well as meetings with high ranking leaders that were simply incredible. God is truly doing a work in the hearts of the leaders in Mexico and beginning an awakening which we pray will spread throughout the entire nation and then on into the rest of the world.

Our goal in going down to Mexico City was to be a light in this darkening world. We were able to get many of the key IBLP materials into the hands of the Mexican people through the book table that we hosted there at the convention. We had the opportunity to minister through music. A group of us were able to memorize some songs in Spanish, Robert and Clayton were able to play there duet on the piano…it was great!

Mr. and Mrs. Phariss have been faithfully serving down in Mexico for the past five years.

They did much of the preparation work and are a the directors of the ministry there in Mexico. We met old friends and made new ones. This trip gave me a new perspective and challenged me to be grateful for all that God has so abundantly given to me. This time was truly a fulfillment of Matthew 5:14. We were able to be channels of God’s light and love to those we came in contact with…even if were were not able to communicate perfectly. =) There is a deeper communication that transcends language barriers…and it is the message of genuine love.
Thank you all so much for all your prayers…the Lord really moved in some powerful ways. We look forward to the fruit that will be born in the coming days as a result of this trip. May God bless Mexico.

Amen to that! =) It sure was a blessing to go with Tabby. She was a great encouragement to me and to the rest of the team.

Brings back a lot of good memories! Let us keep the team of IBLP Mexico in our prayers. I see more than ever that they are in real need of it.

I think we all had an amazing time – esp because God was glorified! Can’t wait to go back. I absolutely loved it! :)
