Who do I desire?

“Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. ” -Psalm 73:25
As I was listening to Mr. Gothard share his heart with the young men yesterday afternoon, he made reference to this very verse. He also shared how when he quoted this verse, he recognized that what he was quoting was not true of him. However, he desired that this verse would indeed become an expression of his heart to the Lord and he purposed to quote it until it was true of him. This is my desire as well.
This morning I head up to Northwoods with over 55 others guys on a Journey to the Heart. Please keep us in your prayers. I am looking forward to what the Lord will be doing and is already doing in each heart and life. This will be the largest guys-group that has every gone on a Journey to my knowledge. I am excited about sharing with you about the mighty things that God has done when we return. God bless you all..

May the Lord begin and continue a kindling of hope, vision, and purpose that will allow these men to be dynamic leaders of their homes, their future families, churches, communities, and nations in the years to come! If there ever was a time where Godly young men were needed to stand in the ever increasing gap, I see now as so very crucial! May the Lord be with each attendee.
