Mother’s Day…and Brielle

“…Let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”
~ 1Peter 3:4 ~
This post is late in coming, but I did not want to miss the opportunity to recognize our mother. Over a week ago, we celebrated Mother’s day in addition to Brielle’s birthday. We as a family, are ever so privileged to have a mother who passionately loves the Lord with all of her heart, soul, mind, and strength and has a desire that each of her children love the Lord with that same passion.
A meek and quiet spirit is a genuine trait of our mother that has adorned her life revealing her true inward beauty. This rare quality testifies of a life that is completely surrendered to the perfect will and leading of God. I have seen mom faithfully demonstrate the quality of meekness over and over again.
She has repeatedly yielded her dreams and desire to the Lord in order to obey His will. Her testimony has been a great blessing and encouragement to us as and many others to follow her Christ-like example. We love you Mom…
I couldn’t close out this post without mentioning something about my beloved little sister, Brielle. I see the quality of meekness being developed in her life as well over the past couple of years.
But what I appreciate most about Brielle (and I know that I speak for the rest of our family) is her quiet joyfulness and enthusiasm for life, fun, and the family. She has been a wonderful blessing to our family and has a special place in all of our hearts. Happy belated Birthday Brielle!… Some bunny loves you! =)
Great Job Chad on the post, looks great and it is encouraging to see from here at HQ!
Happy belated birthday, Brielle! I hope you enjoyed a wonderfully special day—just as special as you are! May the Lord bless you in this new year of your life with a heart to know Him better and a new depth in your love for others. Keep that beautiful smile on your face!
