The Paine Family

Recently, there has been a squad of enthusiastic cyclists that roam the parking lot here at the ITC. Joey, Danny, and Johnny, along with their band of brothers, have been immensely enjoying the warmer weather. From riding bikes to having foot races, the guys have been keeping busy at the end of each school day…as long as it’s not raining. =)

One of the highlights that we enjoyed recently was playing around with a giant, three-man slingshot. We were using a tennis ball as our projectile. It was  a lot of fun. We even managed (with the assistance of Mr. Kraft) to launch the tennis ball onto the roof of the ITC…which is 13 stories tall! It made for an exciting time.

As you can see from the pictures, everyone is thoroughly enjoying themselves. It is fun just to watch the enthusiasm of the younger guys, it really is contagious! What a wonderful time of year.

Lord willing, I will be heading up to the Northwoods of Michigan once again, for another Journey to the Heart. I am looking forward to this time…I know that I will be encouraged and refreshed in the Lord, as well as challenged and convicted of areas in my life that need further surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Recently, a group of young ladies were at the Northwoods Conference Center, enjoying the first Journey of the year. Pray that God will bless this ministry as it continues to keep it’s focus on one thing…Jesus Christ.
