Fathers…Men Who Will Take a Stand

This past week, we had the opportunity to host a father’s homeschooling conference. The conference group was called the CHEC conference…Christian Home Educators of Colorado. It was a blessing to staff their conference. The total of attendees was easily over 450…a sizable group!! The conference began last Thursday evening and finished on Saturday. The father’s were challenged and encouraged by the various speakers, to be the spiritual leaders that God has called them to be, first to their own families and then the Church.

ITC staff members all  pulled together in order to make this conference a success. And it was a success! So many of the fathers commented that the conference was excellent and they freely expressed their appreciation to all the staff that made it possible. I would have to say that the Lord blessed each staff member with His grace and endurance to minister effectively. We were all tired, but it was a great conference.

This next month, we will be hosting another homeschooling conference as well as putting on the first Total Health Seminar of the year, Lord-willing. We are keeping busy and the Lord is blessing. We have so much to be grateful for! I can say with Paul…

“But I have all, and abound: I am full…But my God shall supply all your [my] need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:18, 19

    Jesus came not to be ministered unto, but to minister. What bright examples of a servant spirit were captured in your pictures. Only eternity will tell the influence this conference made on the many families that you had an opportunity to serve.

    How thrilling it is to think of so many fathers being encouraged to be all God wants them to be. We may not realize what a powerful movement Christian home-schooling is, and I praise God for those of you who made that event possible.

    I heard a great report of this Conference from Chris Hogan and he had great compliments for the ITC staff. Good job on pulling together to make a wonderfully successful event!
