A Challenge, A Trip, A Memory

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
~ Galatians 2:20
I love this verse. It truly reveals how we as Believers must view our lives. Crucified with Christ, dead to the things of the flesh, allowing Christ to live in and through me. Our identity now in Him, we now live our lives according to His perfect will.
I mentioned in the previous post how some of our family was involved in a training center challenge, with a theme being Identity in Christ. The challenge is over, and those who successfully completed the challenge, were able to go on a ski trip up in Jones, Michigan.
It was a great time of fun and
fellowship. But all that set aside, the most rewarding aspect of this challenge was the spiritual growth that took place in the lives of those who participated. Testimony after testimony was given of how God worked in each heart and life. It was truly a blessing!

It is always a joy to see progress. The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul. Who is that launching off the ski jump?
The person you see coming off that ski jump is none other than my daring brother, Nathaniel. =) It was his first time skiing, but he wasn’t satisfied with the the slopes, or even the black diamond…he had to do the jumps. Nate especially enjoyed the trip.
Sounds & looks like a blast! Congratulations to all who completed the challenge. By the way Chad, how did you ski with your recent surgery? Or were you cheering on the skiers from the lodge with a big cup of nothing but……..hot chocoloate
?
Wow! those are Amazing pictures! I so wish I could go skiing again…It has been a long time =(…btw who is the photographer? and what kind of camera do you guys have? I just got a Canon 40D and Im loving it!
Greeting to you all from the beautiful Chiapas!
God bless!
Congratulations to you Challenge students who finished well! I felt so blessed to observe the last few days of the Challenge…wish I could have been a part of it! But the Lord has had me in a Challenge of sorts on my own, and it’s been wonderful. I really appreciated all the testimonies, especially from Dr. and Mrs. Paine on identity in Christ. Thank you so much!
All the skiing pictures look like so much fun. Nate really did a great job for his first time. Too bad that Chad had to be stuck on a snowmobile the whole day!
