Two Blessings

This past week we celebrated Nate and Johnny’s birthday “officially”. Both had birthdays quite a few weeks ago, but we held off the celebration until we were altogether as a family. =)
Nathaniel turned 18 years old and Johnny turned 6 (he is the youngest). Both have been a tremendous blessing to our family and to my life specifically.
Nate has a way of making life a lot of fun…even in tiring work projects he can still find ways to make everyone smile. He keeps us all energized!! I have really appreciated Nate’s enthusiasm and joy which comes from his heart that is completely yielded to the will of the Father.
Johnny…has a special place in each one of our hearts. God has blessed him with an ability to discern what is truth and what is error. He has a sensitive spirit to others as well as to the Lord and reaches out in love to everyone. Then there is the mischievous side which is hidden a lot by the blue eyes =). He keeps us busy by the little adventures that he seems to encounter or should I say make!!
We love both of these guys a lot and are praying that God will continue to raise them up as He has already begun to do.
Happy Birthday, Nate! It was good to meet you in July. God bless you as you continue to grow in Him.
I can witness the blessing that both of these young men are! May you continue to receive the grace of our Lord to remain unspotted in this crooked and perverse world among whom we have been called to shine as lights. Happy Birthday!!
