A Word From Down South

a beautiful viewOur time in Oklahoma has been a unique and enjoyable experience thus far. We have enjoyed the physical labor involved as well as the change of pace from serving at ITC. The tasks have been varied, but have mostly centered around outside work. Mowing, cleaning up and burning brush piles, fixing water lines and doing odd jobs around the cabins have kept us busy. The temperature usually gets up to around 100 every day and due to the rain, the humidity has been higher than normal which has kept everything green and growing. =)nice fish Danny keeping busyour mother...Johnny and the Dog
Scorpions, tarantulas and snakes have made for some exciting times!! It has been neat, regardless of the “animal,” to see God’s creative handiwork in each creature. Just last night, Mom stepped outside only to find a very large tarantula crawling across the drive…about 3-4 inches in diameter.joey worka little closertarantulla

Psalm 139 has been a passage that our family is currently memorizing and the first couple verses seem to really stand out in my mind.pulling weeds

“O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.”
