A Journey of Surrender

Team 63 “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 24,25 Charlie

This is the passage that I challenged the guys with as they headed home from the Journey. God has done amazing things in each heart and life, and they are forever changed.

in the snowI am always amazed at how God chooses to continue to work with those who are stubborn. All to often I find myself in this category, and during this week I recognized the struggle of “self” in my own life.

Recently, I have been reading Absolute Surrender by Andrew Murray. Through the course of the book, God has exposed areas in my own life that were once under His control but that I had “reclaimed” over time.

I praise the Lord for what He has done and I know that many people were praying for us that God would do a mighty work in each heart. Two young men gave their lives to Lord during the week and many surrendered their whole being to to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I am excited about what God will do through this group of young men as the continue on…absolutely surrendered. The lodge

The reports I have received of the amazing things God has done on this journey have left me in awe! As we have shared of these things in the local Churches here in West Virginia, people have been inspired beyond words and challenged to full surrender. Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever!
