Working Together

Things have been going well for the Paines…but it has been busy! We have enjoyed working together over the holidays, especially in the kitchen. Mom loves to cook and bake, and she enjoyed doing so along with some helpers. Mom has a touch of perfection, that we all love…especially when it comes to preparing food. =)
It has been a lot of fun working together in the service of others. Being involved in meal preparation has also created more of an appreciation for those who prepare our food on a regular basis.
So that has been a little of what we have been up to as a family. Different staff members have begun to arrive from their time home during the holidays.
This have begun to pick up speed as we head into the year 2008.
What a great way to spend time together! Being away from home for a while really makes me appreciate family time. By the way, that fruit tray is quite the masterpiece!
Thank you for sharing about the things the Lord has you working together on. I agree that it begins to be exciting when things speed up again after the quiet of winter: the days begin to stretch out longer; projects for the new year begin to take shape and, as you said, co-laborers return from various places, refreshed by their time away. God bless you all with both grace and peace as you look forward to more of your service to Him together.
