FOCUS…on a Journey to the HEART ♥

God has been doing some great things in our lives and in the lives of the students. This past week, FOCUS had the opportunity to participate in a program called Journey to the Heart. The program involves going up to the Northern part of Michigan and simply spending a week with the Lord seeking His face in a beautiful and peaceful setting. During this time, we go through some
material that is based on the different heart conditions that people have, both good and bad. Patrick Ritchie (Director of Life FOCUS) and his brother Nathan Ritchie (Director of Journey to the Heart) were the ones who guided us as a team through this time of spiritual enrichment. God worked in many different ways in each one of the students lives.
Continue to pray that God’s will may be accomplished through the remaining time of FOCUS ( the graduation is July 28). I have been very blessed and challenged as I work with these young men. These young men will one day become leaders, and my desire is to see leaders who pursue their relationship with God with a passion.

I was so encouraged to hear life-changing testimonies from so many of the Focus students as they returned to HQ after their Journey. We are praising the Lord for what He has done and is doing!
From your testimony above Chad, I believe and concur with you that the day is dawning in which many of these young men will become positive, influential leaders for the kingdom of God. May you continue to be emptied of self so more of God may flow through.
The Providence of God orchestrates events in such a way that we may never see their result, but can know that God is the One who connects the dots to create the beautiful tapestry of His-story.
An excellent summery! I really felt the FOCUS teams pull together. It was so good I very much want to do it again.
