Springtime at Indy
Posted by Chad 04 13th, 2007
We are all excited about the arrival of spring. After a long winter and much snow, we have enjoyed watching the trees burst into blossom and hearing the birds sing more.
Along with the arrival of spring comes new challenges and opportunities. As a family, we are looking forward to what the Lord has for us this summer. Please keep us in you prayers…and may you be blessed this Spring !!
Ps 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”

Amen! You know former Pastor Dunn put it well when he said ‘good and bad run on parallel tracks and usually arrive about the same time.’ You know, I think the beauties of God’s creation and those needful times of testing are both designed to point us to our Lord!
By the way, is that a sunset or sunrise?
Stunning!
Ahem….I guess I should of read the picture’s caption
. I thought it was a sunset to be honest. Seems like an unusually beautiful sunrise!
I hate to be a pessimist, Chad, but the only problem is I just heard the Indy forecast for tomorrow was 39 degrees and snow.
I’m sure spring is just around the corner, though. Great post and beautiful pictures!
By the way, Josh, doesn’t that sunrise look like something you would have seen over the ocean in Oregon?
Very true Robert…I did know that. =)
That is not the “norm” !! Thanks though.!!
We have been enjoying the springtime too. The weather today was fabulous! We are also rejoicing in the news of the Supreme Court’s ruling to uphold the ban on partial birth abortion! What better time of year for such a ruling than this, when the whole country is bursting into life and many new little lives will be protected. God bless Justice Kennedy, Chief Justice Roberts, Justice Scalia, Justice Thomas, and Justice Alito for their obedience to Proverbs 31:8-9 where God commands “kings” to “Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” May their rewards be eternal!
