Congratulations Gabrielle Paine!

We are privileged to share in this graduating honor. You have been faithful, diligent, and thorough in completing your high school requirements. We are so proud of you. Most importantly, you have grown your relationship with your Lord and Saviour. As you seek the Lord for the next step in life, we will be praying for you.

We are grateful for all those who have invested in Brielle’s life, whether through instruction or prayer. We know God has wonderful plans for her life.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13

Family time…

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is  the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:37-39).   Relationships are vital whether they are with family or friends. We were so blessed to have the privilege of taking four days away to spend with our immediate family. Just catching up on rest, extra time with the Lord, small talks and big talks =), fun, new experiences, and making memories! Although the weather was chilly near Branson, Missouri, we enjoyed hot drinks, the fireplace and chatting. We also were able to spend a day with Thomas, Dakota, and Asia (Dakota’s younger sister), fun, fun! Please pray for Thomas and Dakota as they minister in the Philippines for the month of May. On our way home, we were able to visit the Precious Moments Chapel and grounds.

Big Sandy, Texas!

In April, we had the opportunity, to meet old friends and make new friends at a homeschool conference. We were also spiritually encouraged and challenged to draw near to God. Since we attended as a family, it also opened a door for our family to reconcile with one another. Living together with more than just yourself can sometimes lend to disagreements, easily hurt feelings and misunderstandings.  Although, we strive to keep short accounts with each other, problems can be easily overlooked.  However, getting away from the routine of life can help reveal blind spots and unresolved issues.  We are so very grateful for this special time together in Big Sandy.   And, yes, Danny got to fly again.  This time with Mom and Abby in the back seat…..Whew…we’re all still here!!!! Thanks John!

Before going to Big Sandy, Mom, Tabitha and Johnny drove over to Tennessee to see Chad and Erin for a few days. Mom and Tabitha attended Erin’s shower for baby Carson, while Johnny went to work with Chad!  We covet your prayers for a safe delivery for Mom and baby.

When we love God and walk in a right relationship with Him, we will have the right focus and love each other as we should.

We really appreciate those who take time to make comments on our website. We also appreciate your prayers for our family.

A Biblical perspective serves as a stark contrast to the ever changing mind of the present day culture where children are often viewed as an inconvenience or perhaps a burden.

In the Paine household we desire God to be on the throne of our hearts, minds, actions and attitudes. We view children as: a blessing not baggage, a reward not a regret, a privilege not a problem, a help not a hindrance, a benefit to community not a burden to society. We really cannot express how excited we are about Chad and Erin’s pregnancy. This couple certainly does not take for granted the privilege of the ability to carry a baby. We praise God for maintaining this wonderful life. It’s a boy and his name will be Charles S. Paine the 4th, better known as “Carson”. ETD sometime at the beginning of God has truly blessed us with a grandchild!!!!!…Another mouth to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord!

The end of Psalm 127 states “Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them(children)”; While realizing that no man’s quiver is exactly the same, we praise God for determining the number of arrows in our quiver. May they be straight and sharp to hit the target intended by their Maker for generations to come! Congratulations Chad and Erin! Soooooo excited for you!

Lots of hands to hold and lots of hearts to love him with!!!! xoxoxo

Nathaniel J. Paine

We realize that your 4-year graduation from IMI, was in November and that is why we would like to recognize you for all your diligent work.

A requirement for your graduation was to write a well researched paper. Your focus was on the “Criminal Mindset”. It was amazing what God taught you through this process. God still is in the business of blessing young people who diligently seek Him with incredible insights.

Nathaniel, we are so proud of your commitment these last 4 years. We realize that these studies have prepared you for where God has you now…(In the Florida Prisons). We trust that God will continue to bless you with His wisdom, guide you with His direction and keep you in His care.

Even though you are so far away, we will be vigilant, keeping you in our prayers and our hearts. We know God will not only teach you, but also use you in mighty ways for His glory. Thank you for giving your life to Him and your willingness to go anywhere He sends you.

Our congratulations to you! We love you!

We also want to especially thank two men that have
mentored Nathaniel. Dr. Michael Davis and
Chaplain Robert Holyfield.

*Thank you Alyssa Nickels for beautifully handcrafting Nate’s graduation gift, a mini “ two-edged sword” (a dagger). It will always remind him to use God’s word carefully for His glory.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

~John 15:11~

IMG_20141223_144304I remember sitting in one of the few Sunday School classrooms that I attended as a child and hearing the true meaning of Joy. My teacher said Joy is J-Jesus, O-others, and Y-you. She said that if you get them out of order, you will not have Joy! Although that seems so simple, it has proved true in my life over the past several decades. If I lose sight of the pre-eminence of Jesus the Christ, service in love to others and lastly self, I miss the joy in any given day.

I am humbled and overwhelmed with the greatest gift I have ever received…my Creator, God, coming to Earth in it’s fallen state, enveloped in flesh to live among men who rejected and mocked Him. Finally, dying in my place that I might live each day walking in true Joy!

May the Joy of this Christmas season fill your hearts and lives!

Merry Christmas!
