We are so blessed to have Erin as a part of our family! It was a beautiful wedding with
a few tears and lots of joy! We were privileged to have so many of our friends and family travel great distances and make sacrifices to come and join us for this special occasion. We thank you all for your love and prayers, Chad and Erin are enjoying their time in Ireland together. They will be living in Clinton, TN. We are so happy for them and grateful for God’s blessing on their lives!
P.S. More pictures to come! =) All pictures taken by Andrew Patton. Thanks Andrew!

On October 4th a very special event was celebrated in the Paine household. Our parents’ 29th Anniversary was cause for excitement and joy! How blessed we have been by their vows to love and cherish one another over the years. Christ has been pre-eminent in their relationship and each of us, as their children, have reaped the spiritual benefits! May God bless them with many more years to come. As the hymn writer wrote “…sweeter as the days go by!”

This past summer has come and gone so much faster than any of us could have ever imagined possible. Due to our Grandma’s health and a much needed family retreat, we decided to all meet in Florida towards the end of July. Chad and his fiancée, Erin Bates, drove from where they had just become engaged in her home state of Tennessee. Thomas and Tabitha flew in from their job’s head quarters in Chicago. Nathaniel beat everyone by arriving early from his prison ministry work in Florida.
It was a short, sweet reunion. Precious Grandma had come to the point of needing extra assistance in her daily life. On the eve of our departure to our separate locations, she suffered another small stroke leaving her physically weaker than before. God gave Hannah and Tabitha peace and direction to stay for a few more weeks, while the family departed as planned. The weeks with Grandma and Grandpa were treasured times they would always remember. Many days she had just enough strength to say few sentences or sing some lines of a special hymn. Grandma had a beautiful voice and loved to praise her Lord. She had an incredible heart for missions; especially Africa and India. She prayed for her children and grandchildren every day by name: a true prayer warrior.
A day before her 83rd birthday, that sweet chariot swung low and carried Grandma Home. She is now celebrating with Jesus. We miss her dearly, but know she is safe in His arms and praising her Savior all the day long. What a comfort to know we will see her again someday soon, if He is our Savior and Lord.

It’s been a long time since the Paine family took a road trip to Florida! This May, the entire family was able to go and visit Grandpa and Grandma in Brooksville, Florida! It was such an awesome trip! The one downside to the trip was that Nate couldn’t make it! =’( We REALLY missed him! We had wonderful time of fellowship, visiting, swimming, walking, talking, and just being together! It was so good to see Grandpa and Grandma!! It has been waaaayyyyyy tooooo long!! It was really special!
One of the many highlights of the trip was going to the beach one morning! Even though it was rather cool weather, we really enjoyed walking the small beach, looking for crabs, building a sandcastle…getting wet…and just having fun! We even had some of the Bates family along which made the trip even more fun (and really special for me!..=).
Our family has been really blessed with a godly heritage! Grandma and Grandpa have served so faithfully for so many years over seas in India, Sierra Leone, Zambia, and other parts of the world!! They have been such an inspiration and example for us all in serving the Lord and loving Him first! The trip was amazing!
Please pray for our Grandma as she has several health issues that are a concern! We trust the Lord for the future and are so very grateful for the times that we can share with them both!
